The Xiom Ice Cream AZX has an outer layer of koto, an inner layer of limba, and a core of kiri.  However, sandwiched between the koto and limba layers, the AZX has a ZLC carbon outer layer on one side and an ALC outer layer on the other side.  This allows the user to have different game features on each side.  ALC allows for a softer, stiffer, springier feel, while ZLC allows for a harder, springier feel.
